Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 30, 2026
This policy explains how venues.ge collects, uses, and stores personal data when you use our website, submit inquiries, or use AI-assisted search.
1. Data Controller
venues.ge operates the Platform. For privacy requests contact business@venues.ge.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Platform, we may process:
- Guest request data: Name, email address, phone number, preferred event date, guest count, optional message, selected venue identifier and name, interface language, and the time of submission.
- Listing inquiry data: Name, email, phone, venue name, venue type, region, address, estimated capacity, description, and optional website or photo URLs you provide.
- AI-assisted search: If you use natural-language search and our OpenAI integration is enabled, the text of your search prompt is sent to OpenAI to extract filters (region, capacity, budget, date, etc.). We do not store search prompts on our servers. If OpenAI is unavailable, parsing runs locally with rule-based logic only.
- Technical data: Standard web server and security logs (for example IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) may be generated when you access the site. The admin area uses a session cookie for operator authentication only.
- What we do not collect on forms: Inquiry forms do not ask for payment card numbers, bank accounts, or corporate tax IDs.
3. How We Use Your Information
- •Receive, review, and respond to guest and listing inquiries.
- •Notify venues.ge operators by email (via Resend) when a new inquiry is submitted, with your email set as the reply-to address so we can respond directly.
- •Store inquiries in our operational database so the admin team can track status (for example new, reviewed, contacted, or closed).
- •Improve listings and search relevance. Approved listing inquiries may be used to create or update public venue pages.
4. Storage and Sharing
- Where data is stored: Inquiry records are stored on servers used to operate venues.ge (JSON data files on our hosting infrastructure). Email notifications are sent through Resend.
- Sharing with third parties: We share inquiry details only as needed to operate the service: email delivery (Resend), optional AI search parsing (OpenAI, when enabled), and communication with the relevant venue or you. We do not sell personal data.
- Public venue contact details: Venue pages may display phone numbers, email addresses, or social links obtained from public sources or venue operators. Those contacts belong to the venue; contacting them is governed by their own practices.
5. Retention and Your Rights
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request, operate the Platform, and meet legal obligations. Under the RA Law “On Personal Data Protection”, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored inquiry data and restrict admin access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; please do not send sensitive payment information through our forms.
7. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised policy. Questions or data requests: business@venues.ge.
